All Aboard!! The York Durham Heritage Railways Halloween Special Is About To Depart

Take A Ghostly Train Ride aboard the Only Greater Toronto Tourist Railway The Uxbridge Heritage Train.

The Uxbridge Heritage train is at the station ready for this weekends ghostly ride through the Uxbridge Moraine. This weekend and next it will once again take all the little Ghosts and Ghouls for a ride on board the decorated trains. Passengers are invited to join the crew and children 12 and under ride free if dressed up in their Halloween finest. (only 2 per adult)

On board the decorated trains are ghosts, ghouls, and other entertainment for young and old alike. Trains operate from the Uxbridge and Stouffville stations and have lots of Halloween activities. All children will receive a loot bag on departure from the train and snack service is available on board the trains

The Halloween Themed Trains
Depart from the Uxbridge Station

Saturday October 22nd and 29th
at
11:00am and 2:30pm

90-minute ride to the summit
of the Oak Ridges Moraine at Goodwood

no arrivals or departures
from Stouffville on Saturdays

October 23rd and 30th
at
10:00am and 2:30pm

for the full round trip to Stouffville

Trains depart Stouffvile Go Station
Sunday October 30st at Noon
for the round trip to Uxbridge

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled
departure times to purchase tickets

Snack Service on the train and the tea room in Uxbridge Station will be open ..... all children will receive a lot bag

The York Durham Heritage Railway offers seasonal scheduled train rides as well as special events rides. such as the Halloween ride and the upcoming ride with "Santa". The equipment is available for movie shoots and has been used in movie productions, music and video shoots as well as for magazine spreads.

Some of the York Durham Heritage Railway Rolling Stock includes a heritage coach from the 1950's, a vintage Pullman Coach built in 1919, and a baggage car built in 1957. The three locomotives were all built in the early 50's to by Montreal Locomotive works and one by American Locomotive.
