“We Came, We Saw, And He Died,” Hillary Clinton joked with a TV news reporter just moments after she learned that Muammar Gaddafi had been killed in Libya. Is this what a Secretary Of State does after a mob ruled vigilante killing of a leader of a nation?

Gaddafi was seen alive taken out of a shelter and begging for mercy while wiping blood from his eyes. Then we see him in the streets with a bullet wound in the left side of his temple.

No condemnation from the Secretary of State of the most civilized nation on earth, the most humanitarian, the most compassionate nation on earth. Justice was not served, he was murdered in the streets, and that without trial.

Yes, he was a murderous thug himself, but to give a jokingly passive diatribe about what happened is so shocking to any person who looks to our government to condemn such acts of violence.

It could happen in any nation when leaders look away, turn their eyes away from justice and makes excuses for the lack of leadership that is supposed to be in Washington.

Wow. Well written. Thanks for sharing. I did think it was peculiar this am that on my news station they stated that they didn't know how he died - and yet they showed video of it yesterday. Perplexing.

Nicholas, I've been thinking about this since it was blasted over media sites everywhere - I'm satisfied that the end has come for Goddafi, but I was bothered by the way he was killed - I guess it's the level of anger that existed in a country where such atrocities existed against some - Or was it mob mentality ? Whatever it was - However how much he deserved to die - there is absolutely no reason to make a joke of it - especially from a head of state of our country. It was unfortunate (if it happened - I have to admit not hearing of this before) and definitely inappropriate. Thanks for sharing

Hilary is so nonchalant about it tells you what we have become under this administration. Kaddafi was an evil tyrant, but basically people dancing on his body while snapping cell phone photos and giving the thumbs up is now acceptable behavior for us to just shrug off? I'm still trying to absorb this whole thing.

Megan - The main stream media does not report news anymore - they try to create it, frame it, and get approval from this administration. Unheard of in past Presidencies. Gaddafi was alive and begging for mercy and they killed him, shot him in cold blood before all. And the sad thing about it, Obama tried to get the limelight before he knew the details. Typical for this administration, but mob rule is what Obama is all about.
