Halloween in Lahaina Maui is happening again - cruise over there in style!
Halloween is BACK ON FRONT.... Once again the famous Lahaina Halloween celebration is happening on Front Street. In recent years the festiviites were toned down or cancelled altogether due to some community protests, which causes hardship for the merchants in Lahaina. This year it's full speed ahead and Front Street will be closed to cars to allow revelers to roam the street safely. It's a party atmosphere all night, with bars and restaurants at capacity, live entertainment, fun activities and costume contests.
If you want to avoid parking hassles and driving while drunk, there's a great alternative to driving over to the West Side. Pacific Whale Foundation will be offering a couple of COCKTAIL CRUISES departing from Maalaea Bay and returning about 4 1/2 hours later. That's quite a trick don't you think? On the outward bound sailing guests partake of food and drink treats. How about some BBQ pork or chicken sliders and macaroni salad with your ice cold beer and mai tais? There will be a 2 hour party break in Lahaina town which is right where the boat docks. On the way back guests are served dessert and coffee.
