Balance is a verb. It is not a state that is achieved once and for all. It is something that you are always seeking to maintain. Three times a week we shut down our computers and head out to our Yoga class. We love the proximityy of Montecito Yoga (aka MOYO which means SOUL in Sanskrit). It is just 3 exits aways from our home on the 101 freeway. For an hour and a half we decompress and flex, stretch and build strength. This clears our heads and maintains our spirit of equanimity, Our goals are all in the sign that hangs on the wall in the equipment room, my favorite is "Laugh as much as you breathe". That is one of the secrets of balance.

It is a great way to end our week, every Friday! We are looking forward to a great weekend. All the best to our friends on Active Rain, Cheers Ron & Alexandra

You make an excellent point about the mask. The yoga we do is very intense, it builds strength and flexibility, and I cannot bring another thought to my mind, except to hold a pose a certain way...It does center us and make us better at everything we do. A
