Winnipeg Home Sales - Answers

In my last blog I shared the story of an unfulfilled experience resulting from a cab driver taking me to the wrong destination. Or at least from my perspective it was the wrong place. He was pleased with the location, it had nice restaurants, was a clean, safe area of the community. BUT -I wanted to go to the beach. What went wrong?  I did not know my options, and he did not ask for clarification. Was this the result of the cab driver 'not caring' where I ended up, or his genuine desire to show me the best time in his city, and his misinterpretation of where I wanted to be.

How often in our roles as Realtors, Parents, Friends, or Consultants do we allow our own perception of an experience to blur our vision of what the 'client' wants. At Vienna Beach, I wanted the "salt and surf" after 7 days on a cruise ship I had no desire or appetite for the"Surf and Turf" part of town.

As a frequent buyer of Real estate for many years prior to obtaining my licence, I was often taken to homes which featured designer style, gourmet, Oak clad, but windowless kitchens,  when I am all about the view. After many disappointing showings, I finally figured it out when a well informed Winnipeg Realtor presented me with a Winnipeg Home Buyers Questionnaire.

She asked the questions that were necessary to help me clarify my answers.
