Success LineI enjoy living in reality and learning what REALLY works in the world. I limit my excursions into Lah Lah land as diversions from stressful times or just letting my imagination freely flow. With success or getting where you want to go it is rarely ever easy NOR is it seemingly ever a straight line unless today you just picked all the winning six numbers in the LOTTO.

Apple in this fun video shows with their new iPhone 4S SIRI voice response feature that success in a feature may take some time.

Enjoy and don't be so SIRIous!!

I have seen this success line in one of our Tony Robbins mastery meetings. Great example of how nothing comes easy but you still get through it and continue on ahead! Great post and no, we need to be organized and have a game plan but not stress over it.

Gary - I so get the second picture as being the real route to success - never a straight line! I thought the answer the SIRI gave were pretty funny and even funnier how Jessica was trying not to laugh - lol!

BTW - congratulations on such a huge milestone here in the Rain. 1,000,000 points is hard to fathom and all the work that went into reaching it! Thanks for always being a positive contribute in the Rain - I feel honored to call you my friend!

Gary, I was always taught the shortest distance between two points is a straight line.................but it has never been very fun or rewarding.

In life we need detours and distractions. Without them we would never feel a sense of accomplishment.

Enjoy the day

Diane: Just work our plan and it will take however long it takes. I didn't know that line thing was part of Tony Robbins but thanks for telling me.

Kristin: Have yourself a super Wisconsin weekend too and thanks on the milestone.

Kristine: Jessica talking to SIRI was a hoot I agree and I am honored to have you as a friend here too Kristine.

Don: The struggle on the road adds spice to our life for sure Don.

Scary thought where your imagination goes when you are in la la land. Smiling.

Seems like a waste of time... however I did watch the whole thing. :)

I thought the answers provided by Siri were pretty rational, and that was a little scary. My phone talks to me but I don't have conversations with it.

Sharon: A mind that wanders, well, it wanders sometimes...   : )

John: I have not seen SIRI taking off yet, but it has potential. Kind of like that HAL computer.

Elizabeth: I thought that was funny too with the conversations with the phone. You're not buying a phone, you're buying a new companion FOR REAL  lol.

That was great humor... and the success visual was right on.

Poor Siri having to deal with a murder...that was really mean.

Have a great rest of the weekend!

Success is not a straight and narrow path.  At least not in my world.

I think it's really sad that when somebody has a "set back" even if large, peole say "failed." If you have ever studied a business, any business, you will learn they ALL had set backs. Either it was a series of small mis steps or one big one, it happens. Humans were built to learn from our mistakes. Heck, if we stopped at our first one then we'd never even be upright would we?  Great post!

Hi Gary, Love this post and I am very familiar with that road to success. It also looks like the road from listing to settlement.

The SERI video is a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing.
