I love fall colors. I love fall weather. I love fall football: College and high school and I love living in Walhalla SC where football, cooking out and enjoying friends and family is just a way of life. I am so lucky to live in an area where I know my neighbors and we have time to slow down and enjoy football on Friday night at the high school and the Clemson Tigers on Saturday at the university. Go Tigers, Go Gators. We are a house divided sometimes.
This weekend is the 33rd annual Octoberfest. We are celebrating that Walhalla was settled in 1858 by German Settlers from Charleston SC. We have arts and crafts on Main Street. Sertoma Field is the scene for the Fair atmosphere...rides, food and of course the '"beer" tent where you go to quench your thirst and to enjoy the band and dancing. Come to Walhalla. If you miss Octoberfest it is still a great little town to visit.

Beautiful picture! I miss seeing fall colors since I moved to Arizona!
Arizona has spring colors when the desert blooms. Just a different season but still God's blessings.
