Are You Working in The Cloud
There has been so much hype lately about Working in The Cloud where you store your files and manage your database via web based programs.
The concept of storing files in The Cloud is very interesting. Access to the files from any location is definitely desirable. It would be nice to go to any computer and pull up a file from a web based repository. I sometimes run into problems of access when I have a file on my hard drive at home and am working at my office and don’t have access to that file. I do wonder about security and privacy issues however. There is also the fear that the company where the file is stored will go out of business and take with it all my files.
There are some instances where Cloud storage makes perfect sense however.
After taking a listing and shooting pictures, it would be great to have access to those pictures from any location. A few websites where you can store your pictures are:

Dropbox.com
There is also a new contact management program launching in three weeks which I plan to check out.
eOmni.com
Another interesting website that I plan to check out is RSIZR.com for editing pictures and removing objects from a picture.
These are just a few of the websites I jotted down during the meeting. There are some others which I plan to play around with to see whether or not they are a good tool. I will share those with you soon.
