Kathy, "Peggy Lee" is the mare, she is a Shire, and lives in Rhode Island with Lucy, her Yorkshire friend and her humans.
Carlotta, Amy, I loved the picture on sight. So then I looked at a bunch more (She is a much photograpned and beloved horse) and came back to AR to blog about her.
Tony, the Beatles song came into my head the minute I say the tiny dog on that broad back.
Love the photos. That's one lucky pair of critters to have such good friends.
Mark, They are comfortable and fairly inseperable, critters make friends easily.
Marte, They illustrate the best. Reminds me of the quote " I want to be half as good as my dog thinks I am".
