8 Comments on Taking Personal Responsibility
Lou, Have you ever thought about writing a book? I love your posts... I really look forward to your words of wisdom!
how true... seems to be a basic division between people who believe stuff 'happens' to them and others who believe we have the control to make stuff happen. You have to accept responsibility and then take control.
I must agree with my colleges above. When you take responsibility for what you do, say and think, you are the master of your destiny, the captain of your ship.
Thanks Lou for the inspiration and reminder that you are the only one responsible for the actions you take, and let me know when your book is published.
You create stronger and fuller relationships when you accept responsibility. Great post, thanks for sharing it, it's a good life.
Not surprising to hear this from a hockey player. When my boys played, one of the first lessons to learn was not to hit back. the guy who threw the first punch probably won't get caught, but if you respond in like kind, you're apt to end up in the penalty box.
Have to agree with Liz! Your comments are a true source of daily motivation. Enjoy your day!
Lou, great choice....I agree, many folks just complain and take no responsibility for their own actions
Lou, that is another great post. Responsibility is our ability or respond to the situation at hand.
