Nice pics and I too am glad you stayed positive. Sounds like a positive outing.
Hi Janna, I think I'll just enjoy the photos that you took..thanks for sharing.
Janna - I feel your pain with those knees! Sounds like it was somewhat uncomfortable, but don't you feel GREAT now that you are back in a cozy warm house? Great job of staying positive! :) (and good thing you had that cell phone in case you didn't find your way out! lol)
I just had this song going thru my head while reading this...about Wolverton Mountain...they say don't go...no spuds...sore knees...ouch !
Great for you in staying positive during the adventure! It's what keeps life interesting. You and Rick have a day to chuckle over for years to come.
Janna,
It is sure easy to over do it for sure. I once walked along the Oregon Coast and went way to far. The minute I turned around to head back I did the same thing....but like you enjoyed my adventure!
Janna, next time, walk down the hill backwards.... works every time!
You rock by the way!!!!!
I have a bum knee and I know how bad it was killing you! But like you said you did get some kewl pictures!
So beautiful - and good for you for not panicing! Rain or not, it surely was beautiful. I miss the evergreens of Washington State - my favorite thing growing up was to get away from it all. Does a knee brace help?
The smoker must belong to the listing in the middle of nowhere that you wrote about earlier. I'm glad you made it back and you made it memorable not just for you but for the rest of us too!
