On this morning's stroll in Belmont Bay it was a brisk 40 degrees. Despite the chill in the air this rose is still hanging on the to the warmth of the daytime sun. Most of us where the leaves are changing colors can understand the hope of soaking in a few more days of sunshine before the cold winter months sink in.
Hope you have a beautiful fall day where ever you are this weekend.
Photo taken with iPhone
Chris Ann-I think of roses as summer flowers so seeing them well into October is a treat.
Adrian-though I wouldn't depend on the iPhone for all of my photos it does an okay job in a pinch.
Gerry-in another week I think our trees will be at peak. So for the moment I'll take the summer flowers.
Hannah-I'm not either. Already thinking of making sure I stay on track with my diet and exercise. As soon as the sun starts to set early my whole body goes into revolt.
Richard-I guess the days have been warm enough to give the roses what they need to bloom.
Hello Cindy and a great photo to end the Summer, thanks for the view!

Cindy- just gorgeous... the colors are so real. Makes you want to preserve it.

My roses are blooming for the last time this season too! A pretty sight, but sombering as well. Pretty photo Cindy!
Carla-I think we are about to get a dose of cold weather. The roses may decide to close up for the winter.
Great photo and yes hang on a long as we can right? Although I love the change of seasons it's always a promise of the next.
Wendy-I'm 100% in to fall now. But not looking forward to grey skies in the winter.
