October 23, 2011 - National Mother-in-Law Day

Mother’s Day is in May. So if you forgot your Mother-In-Law, here’s another chance to honor her. I can’t resist the chance to poke fun. Being a Mother-In-Law, please let me indulge myself. Maybe we aren’t always praised or appreciated as much as we think we should be and sometimes feel forgotten. Maybe we should think of ourselves as martyrs. Or better still, what about fruit? Let’s take a look and see what kind of Mother-in-Law you think you are or what kind of fruit best describes your Mother-in-Law.

Are you as sweet as a peach? How about a tart apple? What about a bruised banana? Or are you a sour grape? Hmmmm, perhaps a kiwi??

However we are looked upon, I know we’re worth celebrating. So, give the other women in your life a call or maybe some flowers. Better still, make her something that resembles her personality!! Just let her know she is thought of today…
