What to do in Helena - Montana before the sun goes down

We went to Helena for the family reunion and between the conversations, food and drinks I almost didn't make it out to take some pictures. Well, ALMOST didn't make it :)

Helena is a true beauty for its nature and here I'd like to share some of the pictures with you all..

Met,

I have to say that I am very impressed with your pictures.  The wine shelves on your other post is one of my favorites and these of Helena are beautiful.

I live in Southern Colorado and when I take pictures of wide open spaces I always hear from the east coast people. Something about nothing-ness messes with their minds.  Great Pictures!

Dena, until i lived in the wst coast, these used to be the scenes that i saw in th emovies... downtown scene is what they (and I) are used to  :)

Met...Super photos.  Of course, I was trying to figure out which was my favorite.  Couldn't really decide but if I really, really had to...I might say the top upper right "Pink Sky" or ..........maybe "Up and Down Clouds".

Cheers, Kathleen

Like the fence and telephone poles.  That could be made into a poster and sold!

TREY: Thank you, i love the telephone poles picture too

SANDRA: While I'm taking the pictures the wide open areas give you the best feel of a freedom

Nice photos.  Interesting to see how telephone poles can actually ADD to a photo instead of detract from it.  I guess it's the difference between wide open spaces and high density housing.

John, there is always a time for certain things to look nice, and I guess I caught the beatuy of the poles in this one  :)

nice Met!  Can you say: God's Country!

Mehmet... I usually hate telephone poles and wires in my photos, but I like the way you composed them into your picture.  You can definitely feel the openness of the country.  Very nice pics.

MAX:  Thank you for your kind comments.

JEREMY:  I think Helena is one of the best places I've visited.  Both the downtown area as well as the surrounding area are beautiful.
