Broncos Fan Found Passed out in her Living Room (yes, that’s me!)

Denver Broncos

Ok, for those of you here who’ve followed my Sunday blogs regarding my self-inflicting pain of being a Broncos fan (and long-time Vikings fan too) must rejoice with me here this Monday morning…. TEBOW got us the win!  And that’s when I nearly passed out, folks.

After coming so close last time Tebow took to the field as the Broncos QB, yesterday he came through with a surprising come-back win against the Miami Dolphins.  Did it help that he was playing an away game in a stadium where the fans of the other team were rooting for him?  Who knows.  I just know that it felt good to see the Broncos win again!

Minnesota VikingsIf you watched the Vikings game as well, you know that I almost had a killer day as a football fan.  The Vikes were leading the Packers at the half, then they totally blew it at the start of the second, and then darn near came back at the end of the game!  Losing by one TD to the Packers is as close to beating them as we’re gonna get this season, so it's okay by me.

Boy oh boy, it feels good to start the week like this!

I too have been a lifelong Vikings fan. It is not an easy thing. Every so often they give us something to get excited about and then trash our hopes. Good to see Tebow make a difference. I can certainly cheer for the underdog. Glad things worked out well for you and almost for the Vikes

Thanks, Randy.  Yes, being a Vikings fan has been a tough road.  But growing up in South Dakota, they were the closest thing to a home-team I had.  Fun game yesterday against our rival Packers!

Didi, it has been a painful year, and it has only begun!     I was out collecting leaves, getting the yard ready for a bout of snow this week, and was shocked too to see the final result!

After watching the Chargers give the game away to the Jets, I watched the end of the Broncos game. Was an exciting finish. Glad to see the Broncos win - we were in Colorado for their Super Bowl wins and root for them as long as it is not against the Chargers.  I was in the same state watching the Chargers.  My wife just laughs at me now as I holler and scream at the TV.  Our youngest son does the same hollering but he roots against the Chargers as he says - "cuz you like them".  A few weeks ago he bought a Bronco hat too.

I saw Broncos and thought of our Boise State team at first!   LOL    You sound like me when it comes to my BSU Broncos....that is the only football I really watch!   LOL

Joan, I too put my garden to bed for the winter.  I believe the snow will be rolling in tonight.

Mel, that's just mean for your son to root against your team, but also kind of fun too.  :)  Sounds like you have a fun football house.

Deborah, you BSU fans are crazy!  I had a plane delay in Boise once during a very heated game.  I've never seen an airport full of such wild fans.  fun!

Didi,  It is amazing what he did in the last five minutes, now if only we can figure out how to get him started earlier.
