"I used to be in Real Estate as an agent till a few years ago". I have a client that wants to flip houses and owns a construction company. He wants me to work with his wife on finding houses to work with. So I call her up, she seems nice enough and then....she says " I used to be in Real Estate so I know alot about the business. I never really used my license to sell or help buyers just used it for our company to buy houses to flip."
Ok, so that was interesting and now we both know we know the business, right? Next line is "and I used to be in mortgage too so I know all about that aspect of the business as well". So now I am wondering, what the heck do they need me for! When I mention we need have seasoned money in an account, she knows we really don't need to. When I say we have certain CAR forms that need to be filled out, she says, I don't remember having to do all that when I was in Real Estate. So maybe they do need me?
I guess my point is, some people are just difficult to work with and they just "Don't Make My Day". Stayed tuned to see how this works out!!
