30 Comments on Do you Parallel Park or is your style Nose-In? We do both in New Port Richey-Florida
Hi Toni -
What a unique and cool post. Looks just like our finned kids in our backyard pond. Thanks for the smile of the day.
Best regards from the Q
Toni, Great photos for the title of your post! Very clever! Have a great day!
What an interesting post that I smiled at all the way through. Love the creativity Toni.
Howdy and afternoon Toni
Toni, there are very very few parallel kind of parking in Sullivan County which is the County that I live in, there is a actual total of 15 in the whole County and those are all on two blocks of one of the only City, which actually would not be looked at as a City in most areas across the Country.
I sure did enjoy reading this here little ole blog post and looking at your mighty fine photos of them ther good looking Kois. Thank you mighty kindly for such an uplifting blog post to enjoy.
Have a good one
Dale in New Hampshire
Perhaps his park assist was a tab bit off...LOL! Cute post! Have a great rest of the week.
Toni,
We have to pass parallel parking to get our license, and then spend the rest of our lives avoiding it at all costs. Great tie in with the coi.

In California we do both. I can do either proficiently, but notice that a parking spot is usually an empty space on the opposite side of the street, and nearly always gone by the time I navigate my way back to it:-)
I meant to add that the gold fish with the black spots reminds me of a pet I had once. Her name was "Cloie, the coy koi."
Toni, Very clever and cute!! Living were I am at I never parallel park. If I did I would probably be in trouble LOL!
Toni, love your new photo, and such a cute spin on your local fishing hole!
Toni, when I lived in Boston Parallel parking was the way now in Los Angeles it is Valet Parking:)) Loved your analogy and the pictures.
Toni: I bet every person that read your blog had a smile on their face, how could you not?
Great photos with a great presentation.
Toni - what a creative post! Isn't it funny what we see in pictures that we then have to write about! Growing up we all parallel parked. They don't do it much here in Murphy and it's funny to watch people sometimes when they have to do it. It definitely is an art. I'm with Endre though - Valet Parking is great. We don't have it in our little one-light town of course but what a great concept!
Thanks to all of you for your funny and wonderful comments. I haven't parallel parked since my driver's test and I won't tell you how many years ago that was but the horse didn't want to cooperate :) I'm happy if it made you smile.
John - you have a Koi pond? I have always wanted to do that.
Myrl - you always have such cute names for your pets.
Endre - you got it but valet parking is a scarce as hens teeth around here :)
Cyndi - It is funny to watch. I guess the new car that parks itself would be helpful.
Thanks for that laugh - perfect title for these pictures Toni!
Thanks, Debra! Hope you feeling good today!
Your photos are just delightful -- and your clever captions make them even more fun! Thanks for posting!
Thank you, Dianne!
Toni... what a cool post. I really enjoyed the pictures, and the comments that are following. Thanks so much for bringing a smile to my Wednesday afternoon face. Take care...
By the way... I have found that things in general go much more smoothly for me when my overall philosophy goes "to the left." <impish smile>
Me too, Karen Anne. I tend to like whimsey and that seems to work that way too :)
