Loon Lake waterfront properties (Waterford, Michigan) on the west side the homes are more of a subdivision type feel. The lake front homes sit on relatively deep lots. They are a little different than some of Oakland County Lake homes where the home is tight to the street and there is little parking. It is like there was a road and a lake there and then they squeezed a home right in the middle. Well it's not like that on the west side of Loon Lake in Waterford. It's like a normal subdivision street with mature trees and an added bonus of an all sports lake.
There are quite a few lake front homes that range from 2000 to over 4000 square feet. Many of these homes were built after the 1980's.
Some of the Loon Lake waterfront properties that are Pontiac schools. The Southeastern tip of Loon Lake is still Waterford Township but falls into Pontiac School System.
Some of the homes over there on the Southeastern part of the lake are small and are on Dixie Hwy. But there are some large ones too.
