New Starbucks To Open In North Indio
Starbucks coffee lovers on the north side of I-10 won't have to travel far in search of their favorite Frappuccino much longer. The new store in Indio will be the first new opening for Starbucks in three years for the Coachella Valley. The Starbucks will be located off Jackson Street in the Indio Town Center just north of I-10 and will have a drive through window. The new store is pushing to open around mid-November.
The residential growth around the area north of I-10 in Indio is expected to have an eventual population of 91,856 according to a demographic study prepared by Mark Derrigo of Derrigo Demographic Studies. The study concluded that Indio, Menifee, Eastvale, and Winchester are the four most active residential areas in Riverside County.
Other retailers already established in Indio Town Center include Winco Foods, CVS Pharmacy, Home Depot, Petco, US Bank, 24 Hour Fitness, and most recently Toys R Us and Babies R Us. For added convenience, Target, Marshalls, Ross, Big Lots, Verizon, and Dollar Tree are right across the street.
North Indio is a city in itself with the new school located off Jefferson and restaurants including Goodies Cafe, Charlie Marrones, & Subway to name just a few. On top of having the convenience of new stores just around the corner, home prices in north Indio are a terrific deal for first time buyers, snowbirds, and investors.
