HALLOWEEN HOUSES in GANANOQUE - Come for a drive around town!

Our Community really gets into the spirit of Halloween and each year I like to drive my 83 year old Mother around our Town of Gananoque looking at all the decorated houses.  Obviously some of the homes are done up for nighttime but I took a few photos of some of the more memorable daytime ones and I will be sending a note to each of the homeowners of the properties below, to thank them and applaud their spirit! 

If you find yourself in the Gananoque area, take a drive past some of these ghoul-friendly homes and then give me, Susan Emo, a call and I'll keep the home buying/selling business from being too scary!!!

Hi Will -  I'm one step ahead of you:  got the candy on the weekend but now I have to make up 100 goodie bags.  When the 100 are gone, the lights go off!  That way, the high school kids wearing their football uniforms don't take what is meant for the wee ones!

Yeah Susan....Halloween has become so much bigger and better by way of decorating then when we were kids. I can just remember a plastic witch we hung on the door....that was it!

Gwynn - that is so sad!  We dress my Mother in costume and have her sit in our front entrance and each little goblin comes up to her to get their goodie bag.  She saves special candy necklaces for the tiny little princesses!  She absolutely loves it and is already so excited.  We even have bisquits for the dogs that come too.
