Rob, I wouldn't have thought strawberries were still in season. I didn't know about the 25 degree cut off point. Nice photos!

Oh yum I would be out there grazing in the field! They would have to weight me before and after! Crazy to think some places have fruit still on the vine and some have snow right now!

Gosh, I had to do a double-take when I read this post!  We have a Bristow up here in Northern, VA, and for a split second I thought....strawberries in NoVA now? LOL

Never knew strawberries were still grown (and picked) this time of year....other than in Florida & California climates.  I'll say it again:  I learn something new everyday here in the Rain.

Strawberries! And you are not really that far from me, I'm in Ohio. We are way past strawberries here. Between that and the post about pansies that was featured, I'm feeling very springy-summery. Thanks! Gorgeous pix!

Eating something from the earth without a middleman is a unique experience....I had tree ripened fruit and it does not compare with market produce. No wonder Adam & Eve went for it...delicious. Food out of the ground and plucked from a bush has the same qualities...plus fun?     I'm in!  Rob

Hi Rob, we have strawberries growing around here too... but I believe we are done for the season. What is your excuse for them still growing? Nice post.
