Fortunately, your list is much shorter than our county's list!

It still amazes me as to how many home occupants don't make payments on their mortgage in Orange Co. and how few of those homes go to the sale.  This is truly why prices are so stable in OC.  Today's figures are more than 3900 homes in OC are bank owned but not on the market,  some of these first went deliquint in 2008?  Homes set for auction number just over 7500, many dating back to 2007.  Then there are the preforeclosures. more than 10,000 with 1000's coming up each month.  This type of inventory spells real disaster for OC if the politicians don't stay out of the housing market and let this clean itself up.  Can you imagin the Millions that are not being paid on taxes.  This numbers are terrifying.

Nice update.  It's too bad we continue to have foreclosures, but it's good to see the list getting shorter.

Your point is on target Art. What makes things even worse is when the media outlets run with stories which mislead the general public with false hope.  Just like the new "false hope" program regarding the new rules on making it easier for under water homeowners to refi.  Sorry...read the fine print. Most will not qualify for this program.
