OK You have been saving, you found some really nice houses, much nicer than you expected for your price range, interest rates are at all time lows, your payment is equal or less than your rent, all things point to YES but you have this nagging thought in the back of your head..."what if the market still goes down, now what"?

Any trader will tell you (the honest ones) NO ONE makes perfect calls. Sometimes you time the market right and sometimes you don't. Even the fortunate and constant repeat investors don't usually hit the low point of the valley and don't sell at the high point on the peak. You cant live your life as if your house (where you live, enjoy your down time, enjoy your family or decide to start one) is another piece of the "day trade"??? Its YOUR HOME ! ! ! !

Remember, when you have the signs all lining up as they are now you can be sure that some will get lucky but most will miss the "perfect time" if there even is such a thing. All houses are NOT the same, They arent on the same lot, they arent the same on layout, they arent the same on view, they arent the same for school district they arent the same for interiror finishes and upgrades etc. So with this many variables why do some walk away from the home they love over some small fear that it could go down? When you are prepared, your sights are lined up on the target... you fire... BULLSEYE!

HOMES WILL RISE IN VALUE! That is a fact, check history (we seem to repeat our mistakes and victory's often) so don't let this down trend fool you. be wise and take advantage of it. Find your dream home, or maybe just a good to really good home and make it great. Enjoy the low prices of 1999-2000 and enjoy the rates from your grandparents day (dependent on how old you are) back in the 50's and 60's!

With low housing prices and even lower rates you may see some more but you may not see that house or be able to be in that area or have those amenities. Remember your house is a major part of your life treat the decision that way and not as some penny day trading stock!
