The article in the Wall Street Journal today said that the strong growth of rent and occupancy levels of rental apartments have pushed some building values to record levels since more people are renting now instead of buying.
Apartment vacancies are at their lowest levels since 2006 and this is evident from the rise in apartment construction going on in most cities.
The good news is that these renters are going to get tired of paying those high-price rents and will get tired of living in close proximity to others that can hear each other and smell their smoke through the walls, etc.
Hang in there, people will be getting back into a house in our perfect market soon!
