Williamson County Schools Plans Building New Nolensville High School
The Williamson County School Board is currently looking to buy land for a new high school they plan to build in the Nolensville area.
This is just one of the items included on the five-year capital out-lay plan. The Williamson County school board will seek final approval for this capital out-lay plan at their November meeting.
If approved, school officials will be looking to purchase approximately 100 acres in Nolensville. The commission has budgeted up to $30,000 per acre towards the purchase of this land.
The building of this new high school may have an interesting impact on the housing market in Nolensville. One of the selling features for home owners has always been that buyers could purchase homes for far less in Nolensville than their Brentwood neighbors but still have the advantage of children attending the highly-rated Brentwood schools.
