The 2007 REALTORS® Conference and Expo

This year I am making the trip to the NAR National Convention in Las Vegas. This will be my first NAR convention. The conference runs from Nov. 13-17, 2007. It will be held in the Venetian Resort's The Sands Expo and Convention Center. Http://www.realtor.org/conference

I am looking forward to the trade show part in particular. I am always looking for new ideas on how to better my process and procedures. I am also a gadget and techie junkie. The trade show has over 700 vendors listed. That should fill a fair amount of time.

While in there I am hoping to meet up with a few of the Active Rain regulars who will also be attending. I am arriving on Tuesday morning and will be there through Thursday. If you will be there I will have my cell phone with me and will be checking e-mail once or twice a day.

Jay Thompson is scheduled to be in booth #3444 Wed. 11/14/07 from 12pm to 1pm, and Kristal Kraft (K.K.) will be in the same booth Thu. 11/15/07 from 12pm to 1pm. I am planning to visit the booth then to meet them.

If you are aware of any of the workshops that stand out please feel free to post it here. I look forward to meeting as many Active Rainers as possible.

Randy, you'll have a great experience at the NAR Convention. I attended for the first and so far only time 2 years ago in San Francisco and loved it. The trade show floor and all the vendors are mind boggling and you can spend so much time down there just learning and soaking it all up. And then the classes with the national real estate speakers are fantastic too! Tell us all about it when you get back or while you're there. I can't make it this year, unfortunately.

Andrew - I have been there many times. I liked it better years past. Everything has gotten so expensive there now.

Randy...I'm there till Thursday afternoon and plan on watching KK do her presentation. I have to leave for the airport by 3pm. I think I missed 2 conventions in the last 20 years. You'll have a blast.
