Happy Halloween.

Happy Halloween to all!

Its a night full of spooks and ghosts, goblins and witches.. and a few cute princesses too!

I hope your evening is a fun one and a safe one. May all your kid's pots and bags be filled with great candy and treats. (Especially Mary Janes... my favorite!)

Let's all hope that when this evening is over we can begin a new celebration. Not one full of scary dooming news about how housing is dead. But one of Thanksgiving and peace.

It is my hope and prayer that the media lets go of the mortgage and real estate crisis of 2007 and allows folks to get back to some sort of normal life. Funny how the media can fan the flames even more, keeping a story going longer than it needs to. That especially applies to the horror and ghost stories of the mortgage industry!

Let's put it to rest and be thankful that we still live in a great country where owning your own home and not having to pay cash for it is just a small part of the collective American Dream! Lets look to new ideas and hopes of how the people that have worked hard to buy a home can actually buy one.

I for one am glad this long Halloween in this industry is coming to a close! Welcome to the Thanksgiving and Christmas of our industry! Let's celebrate and get as many people as we can the gift of homeownership!

Hopefully,
