vaccineIt's fall. The weather is getting cooler, leaves are changing colors and flu vaccines are available. This year, Knox county parents can sign up students for flu vaccines online.

The Knox County Health Department has partnered with a company to provide an online enrollment process.

The Health Department will vaccinate students at over 100 locations this year. The 2011 schedule for flu vaccinations in school is in pdf format.

If, for some reason, your child misses the vaccination at the school site, you can receive them at the Health Department.

Signing up for the flu vaccine online save everyone a lot of time. How often do those permission slips sent home in back packs get misplaced or lost along the way?

Knox County parents, sign up students for flu vaccine online!

Hi Chiara, I just got my Flu shot yesterday. I think you are doing a great service promoting and advertising where to go and get those Flu shots in your area.

Jerry, thanks! I thought this new online sign-up was so "cool." I remember when my kids were young, how often those permission slips that got sent home, then got lost. Signing up online just seems to be so much more efficient.
