Renee - I wish we had this option in our MLS, I'm so curious how many Wellington home buyers are getting zip, nada, nothing.

Great information for buyers to know that the sellers are already giving away the farm--they're not paying them to Close too!

Going to run a report on this data myself.  I'll bet this month's info looks similar to yours out in Vegas.

Renee, Our mls just started keeping track of seller concessions...I still wonder how accurate that is...

Good information Renee. I do think concessions as a percentage of sales can be very misleading. It's been my experience that buyer's usually will only ask for seller concessions if they are needed to complete transactions, otherwise they will just try and ask for price reduction from asking price. I would bet that those that got a seller concession, paid a much higher List -to- Sold price.

That's a great pie chart to illustrate what's going on with sellers in NV.  I'm glad to see that there is something good going on withproperty that was so hard hit in NV.

Wow A seller's Market!  I almost forget how they work.  :)  That is very interesting information.  Thanks for sharing.  We are in a Buyer Market and I would guess almost every other offer priced under $250 has paid seller help.

I am curious as to what is prompting a seller's market in Las Vegas?  Are the prices really at a point where buyers feel confident that the bottom has been reached?

Why the seller's market? Are the banks keeping most of their inventory off the market?

Do they consider an offer below list price a seller concession?
