What Can You Learn On Active Rain???

Well it's been a little over three months since I entered my first post! What have I learned here on Active Rain?

*It took me 13 days to get up enough nerve to enter my first post!

*On one early post because of improper grammar I had 'my wife' sleeping with Daniel Boone!

*It's easy to make friends on AR!

*If you're 'committed' you can learn a lot here!

*You can get 'addicted' here!

*Most people here have a sense of humor!

*I can now enter 'graphics' in my posts!

*I can enter a 'hotlink' (URL), but don't add a period or comma too close!

*Lenn Harley is not related to the motorcycle maker, Harley-Davidson...or is she?

*I can spell Ed Rybczynski correctly!

*TLW is not a 'credit bureau'!

*Todd Clark is a 'blogging maniac'! I think he's down to 5 a day!

*Sally isn't really a realtor from Hawaii, she's a 'spy' for AR!

*Jo-Anne Smith isn't really a realtor from Canada, she's the 'ghostwriter' for J.K. Rowling!

*Sardi & Rob Robinson are twins seperated at birth!

*Bob Stewart doesn't live up to his initials!!!

Well guys, I've learned a lot more but in the spirit of brevity I'm trying to keep this short...but it is true even here on Active Rain...you do learn something new every day!!!

Interesting post Fran, I am just new here and i am starting to pick up quite a bit of good info, for me i wish there was more Canadian content, but rather than complain i will invite more Canadians and work on developing some content myself to encourage my fellow Canadians to get into the Active Rain and get wet!

Fran,

Don't feel alone. It took me months to realize that I was sending things out to the World, not just select people. Then comes my posting skills. They went from primitive to "kind of" primitive.

The picture posting. I delegated everything for years to people, now I can have the fun.

I feel better about my surroundings and what I have learned from activerain than any source I have ever had to pay thousands a year to.
