The Healing Place
The Healing Place of Wake County is a non-profit rescue, recovery and rehabilitation facility for the homeless in Wake County, North Carolina, who have alcohol and drug addictions. The organization's ultimate goal is to enable clients to return to productive lives. One year after graduation, approximately 70 percent of the participants remain sober.
Because pet overpopulation is the leading cause of death for cats and dogs in the United States, AnimalKind seeks to make pet spay/neuter affordable and accessible for the lowest income citizens in the Triangle-area of North Carolina-through targeted spay/neuter programs, as well as being an advocate for public funding.
Frankie Lemmon School & Developmental Center
Frankie Lemmon School & Developmental Center, a non-profit community organization, is the oldest preschool serving children with developmental disabilities in Wake County. The school serves children 3 to 6 years-old who may have developmental delays, language impairments, learning disabilities or mental retardation.
It feels great to give back to our community ... We hope to see you at the Red Charity Ball on November 17th!
