Special offer

I've never been more happy to hear that.

Real Estate Agent with Jameson Sotheby's International Realty

I admit to not being 100% sure what they're trying to say here.

This is from a listing in our MLS, and I think they're trying to tell us that this listing doesn't require adult diapers?

Good to know, right... 'cause that's a major concern, when dealing with foreclosures these days!

Proofread and then have someone else proofread it too! Spell check can't do it all and things start to look the same after you've been working on your listing remarks for a bit. I hope they fix their mistake.

I have a personal policy that serves me well, and it is to lay off the scotch until after I have uploaded my listings.

No reason to proof read your listings before you hit that activate button! Only the top agents do that... right?

I've seen quite a number of mistakes in listing in my MLS, but nothing as funny as this. Thanks for the laugh, Alan!

As hard as we try .... it just happens.  Those little buggers re-appear right after you double and triplecheck.    I find when I rush to post, the error rate goes up.  But.... I do go back in and try correct when noticed.    This one was a cute one - glad it wasn't mine.

Home is where the hearth is.

Holly - so true.

Lenn - an interesting juxtaposition

Sara - well, that's embarrasing.

Amanda - I have a feeling that they don't even know.

J.Phil - me too... I prefer bourbon.

Craig - you think both of them do that?

Dick - that's what depends are for.

Chiara - oh, I've seen some good ones.

Cathy - I've had a few of mine slip through, too.  Hopefully my friends will let me know.

Jon - you're absolutely right... what was I thinking?

Tatyana - consider it said.

We all make errors, but when I take the time to inform the listing agent of the error and it's still there in the MLS listing, it always amazes me.  One agent had a home for sale for $829.  It was a rental.  I informed her of the error twice and the second time she just laughed.  She said it had rented so no big deal!

Alan - Jay Leno does crazy headlines on Monday nights - someone on late night tv should start doing stupid MLS comments.  It would be comedic for sure!  Here in the mountains many words get slightly distorted.  I just wonder sometimes what people are thinking!

Alan does a lot of proof reading, trust me when I tell you. That's a big oops though when it's in a mls listing.  Nice catch, it's a good life.

I am in total agreement with Mel . . . what does ANY of it say?  Seriously - maybe they need the sump pump for the incontinence

Okay, so it's obvious this agent isn't the sharpest tack in the box. Do you think her client even bothered to look? Apparently not. Or maybe he isn't the sharpest tack either.

Home is where the hearth is.

Mel - don't try to make "sense" of it... it'll just hurt your brain.

Joe - who... moi?

Mimi - that's a lot of in - continents

Tammie - in this case, he IS the client.  He's a developer who buys foreclosures and flips them.

Gabe - d'oh!
