Seven Selling Myths: Myth #4

By
Real Estate Agent with Chicagoland2to4Flats.info

Myth #4:  Buyers will be able to see past a ‘lived-in’ look.

Truth:  You have only one chance to make a 1st impression—
and 1st impressions, in any market, matter heavily.

If it’s a home or town home, the exterior should make a good buyers feel compelled to stop and come inside.  And, for any type of property, the interior must sparkle—it must appear, not as the home YOU live in, but rather as the home your BUYERS can picture themselves living in.

And this is just the start of what you’ll find at www.Chicagoland2to4Flats.info!!!

Absolutely true.  Buyers have to be able to see themselves in the home, and not you.  Sparkle Sparkle makes all the difference in the world.  Just wish sellers would "GET IT" and do it.  Great post.  Keep them up.

You are so right. I think that first impression is even more important than ever in this market. Staging is critical!
