Grapevine Brides awaiting...or spookie ghosts in West Linn Oregon
One of the things I love about living in West Linn, Oregon is that I can take the back country roads to drive to Tualatin, my other fave City in the suburbs of Portland. Living here I'm close to all shopping, less than a mile from Historic Downtown Willamette, and depending on the time of day a 20 minute drive to downtown Portland. Along with that I'm also less than a mile away from some really gorgeous farm country. To me the best of both worlds!
On most days I can always count on passing horses, geese, llamas and donkeys..and every now and again sheep or lambs. Today I took a road I haven't been down a while to turn around to go back and get some fresh eggs from the Ek Family farm when I passed these grapevines covered in a white veil to keep them safe from frost. I've passed many a vinyard here in Oregon wine country, but have never seen this. This was a day I didn't have my camera with me ( bad bad blogger)...but snapped these with my always with me I-phone. I thought they came out pretty cool looking!
Did Spiders come at night and make these webs?
I bet these look pretty spookie at night!
