Well if you haven't parked your RV by now I do not know if you would even get a spot for this weekends NASCAR Dickies 500! I had to go to Ft Worth last Sunday and people were lining up to park their RV's for this weekends event.
The qualifying rounds start tomorrow with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series kicks off the NASCAR tripleheader weekend with practice and qualifying on 7-Eleven Qualifying Day. The gates open at 12 noon and the events start at 7.
Friday starts it's a day packed with NASCAR Busch and NEXTEL CUP practice and qualifying; action that will set the scene for their respective races. Gates open at 9:00 am and events start at 3:30. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will shine under the Texas Motor Speedway lights in the Silverado 350k. Championship contenders will have to conquer "The Great American Speedway" to keep their title hopes alive. This race begins at 8 pm.
And if that wasn't enough
Saturday is the O'Reilly Challenge will attract drivers from all NASCAR divisions in search of a prestigious visit to Victory Lane following the 300 miles of NASCAR Busch Series action. Gates open 10 am and the events start at 2:30.
Sunday the big race and the pressure is on in the Dickies 500 - the eighth of 10 races in the Chase for the NASCAR NEXTEL CUP to determine the 2007 champion. Will a championship contender rise to the occasion? Tony Stewart ruled the 2006 running - can he repeat or will another of NASCAR's superstars post their name among the winners in Victory Lane? A late-afternoon green flag will produce the closing laps under the lights - reuniting the popular day-night format for the Dickies 500. Gates open at 10am and events start at 2:30 pm.
