Great Story, Donna. Strange choice of shoes but it's good all had a great time!
Thanks for sharing it,
Bruce
Great story. Being a fashionista doesn't work well in a corn maze but glad everyone had fun.
Maybe when she was younger she could have won the maze with the cute heels on? Sounds like a great time.
Haha Great story. I guess you do need to dress for the appropriate event.
Donna, Really great job of illustrating the experience! Congrats on your first feature post!
Donna: Congratulations on a Feature post! Great job at storytelling. I showed this post to my wife, a farm girl. She got laughing about someone wearing heels to a farm. But we've seen high heels at football games too. Go figure ...

Donna, we've never gone through a corn maze. Sounds like a fun time was had by all. Your friend gets the tough-girl award!! I don't even wear heels when showing property!
Wow that poor woman! I bet her feet were like hamburger after all of that! I am a big proponent of sensible footware, its way better then having bunions, hammertoes, and blisters!
What a great story! It is a great reminder to spend time with family, but to always dress appropriately!!!
Great story, and yes the right shoes, like the right Realtor, makes all the difference! Thanks for sharing!
Next time I go to a corn maze, I'll keep this post in mind. Glad everyone had a great time.
Great, well written and visualized family fun time. Also a fine recommendation for visiting "Halloween Fun in Hampton Roads." I saw on TV where a wife talked her hubby into doing a corn maze and they couldn't find their way out! She had to call 911 and have them come find them through the phone GPS! The husband was mortified.

Hello Donna, this is a great story she should have done what I always do and keep a spare set of flats just in case you get into a sticky situation like this one. Thanks for sharing.
Donna:
I always wear six inch heels when I visit a corn maze. By the way, what is a corn maze?
Corn mazes are great.
Sounds like you had a good time
We have a few corn mazes in our area but nine of them are 5 acres. That's a lot of wrong turns.
A corn maze sounds like fun about now! Five acres is a lot of territory to cover and I can't even imagine what it would be like in dirt and wearing heels. Funny how Ice Cream continues to be able to cure most ills. Such a fun featured post Donna, CONGRATULATIONS!
Donna - I've never been in a corn maze, but I'm thinking that 5 acres of anything isn't fit for heels.
Oh what fun. I love corn mazes. I haven't been to one in yrs. 5 acres sounds really large.
Corn mazes are so much fun, but I don't think some folks think it through before they start one. We had a couple here have to call 911 a week ago because they got "lost" in a corn maze with their 2 week old baby and they panicked. Oh well. it sounds like you had fun.
