Eberts Greenhouse Village,  Located in Ixonia WI,  Fun activities every day, Extra special days on the weekends and if you have a Family Child Care or a Center Child Care, you won't want to miss their package deal!  They have a story theater complete with hay bales for seats and a theater setting that brings their feature book to life!  The art work and story maze is phenomenal!  Pack a lunch and gear up for the corn maze, face painting and the hayride out to the pumpkin patch where you get to select your very own pumpkin!  Bring your wallet as everything is inexpensive, however; each activity is al-a-carte.  Although they do have a great package deal for $12.00 day pass and many activities for free!

Hinchley's Dairy Farm, located in Cambridge WI.  A simple and back to the basics of what farming and celebrating are all about!  You won't find jumpy houses and other gismo's here but what you will find is a wonderful back to the farm setting.  That doesn't mean they don't have a lot of  here, they truly do!  But they keep it simple and even add a fun little twist.  During Hinchley's Dairyland tour you get to milk a cow, gather eggs, hold, pet and feed their many varieties of farm animals.  Take the tour of the cornmaze (with hidden trinkets throughout) and ride the hay wagon to the pumpkin patch to pick out the pumpkin of your chioce (at no extra cost!).  Arrive after dark and their is a whole new element added!  Bring your flashlight to guide your way through the maze and the pumpkin patch Bwah ha ha ha!  EVERYTHING included at a cost of $8.00 children & $10.00 for adults.

Busy Barns Adventure Farm, located off hwy 12 in Fort Atkinson WI,  Pumpkin picking, hay rides, corn digs, scarecrow stuffing Feed, pet and hold the animals, Trivia Corn Maze, trike track and so very much more!  They even have a "Swine are Divine" lessons.  This weekend they are having a Halloween Costume Parade with many special prizes throughout the day!  So, pick out your favorite costume, grab a pillow case to carry your pumpkin, and head out to Busy Barns Adventure Farm!  Only $7.00 to get in and children under 1 are free.  And while you are there make sure to ask them about the "Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny" <---click here for more information>  magical production of Margaret Wise Browns book, put on by the Nova Scotia Theatre group at the Young Auditorium (UW Whitewater).  It is going to be a wonderful production Friday November 4th! 

Schusters Farms, Just off Hwy 12 & 18 in Deerfield WI, While Schusters Farms has all the others do,..... it also has something more!  Not for the faint at heart, Schusters has <insert teeth chattering and knees knocking here> The HAUNTED FOREST!  It is NOT playtime after dark (as Schusters says)!  I cannot even begin to describe this event so click here for more information "HAUNTED FOREST" the best haunt in the Madison WI area!  They also have a flashlight cornmaze, bonfires and barnyards and pumpkins! 

I would love to recommend one over the other, but that is simply not possible!  Each is unique and FUN, FUN, FUN!  I have taken my family to each of these excitement filled Halloween Adventures and we love them all for different reasons.  So get dressed up, get out and have some fun this Halloween Weekend.  I am off to do just that with mine!
