Howl-o-ween Pooch Parade

Just when you think you have heard it all.... it seems that peeps are not only not satisfied with just dressing their pet dogs, but now they are dressing them up in costumes for the 3rd Annual Howl-O-Ween Pooch Parade and Pet Expo.

At least it is for a very good cause, since they are raising funds for a local non-profit dedicated to placing homeless and displaced animals, the TLC_Tiny Loving Canines, and the Ventura County Sheriff's K-9 Search and Rescue.

Check-in is at 11:00 AM; The

parade begins at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Rancho Tapo Community Park (Lemon Park), 3700 Avenida Simi, Simi Valley, CA.

Categories include Best Pooch Costume, Owner-Pooch Look Alike, Most Humorous, Best Small Pooch, Best Large Pooch, and Judges' Choice.
