Motivational Power Quote

Don’t Pre-Judge

“I wonder how often in the past I may have missed

the good in people because I pre-judged,

based in the differences.”

Anne Perry, author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Don’t pre-judge

Pre-judging is jumping to conclusions without all the facts.

Pre-judging will close far more doors then it opens. In pre-judging you take a snap shot and without developing the relationship and having the benefits of seeing the big picture.

To make a good decision you will need to have all the facts.

Look at each situation as a stand along opportunity. If you’re judging the situation look at the pro’s and con’s of the opportunity and make a judgment based on facts not by pre-judging.

When make your judgments with a purpose you will make far better decisions and lose far less opportunities.

Don’t pre-judge make your judgments based on facts.

I knew I would like the blog post before I read it. Is that pre judging? You are right Lou, no one else is your twin, let them be them, you can be you.

Not something I've done often, but guilty on occasion and have been pleasantly surprised.

Good morning, Lou. I am guilty of having done this myself.

BTW, I am rereading and fully absorbing, "Think and Grow Rich". Funny, how when I read it the first time, things didn't soak in. Now I am like a sponge...

Good morning Lou,

I like this message! So many times in our fast pace world we live in we do pre-judge! It can be a huge mistake not to take time to get all the facts first because if you don't you could be the one missing out on some great opportunities.

Lou, I try to take, a deep breath, whenever I am faced with difficult decisions.  Sometimes, it does help to get through it, without jumping into the wrong decisions.

Lou, good advice, sometimes it's hard not to go by first impression but often things are not as they first appear to be.  Have a great Sunday!

WOW you hit the nail on the head!

I will tell you a short story about pre-judging and missed a huge sale. One of my friends worked in Mercedes dealership in  Salisbury, MD and he was new sales member on the team. Well this couple walked in the overhauls tha had paint all over them. Well he said when everyone else saw them they turned and didn't even bother to help. He was new and was eager to help them and when he did he found out that their image was nothing but how hard they work. They were a retied couple that started a part-time mom and pop painting business to keep them busy.

By the time he helped them, they were driving out in $70,000 Mercedes SUV. They already knew what they wanted because they researched online.

If everyone was like this and not pre-judged we all would sell more. How many times do we pick a book up and put it back down because their isn't a cover? Open it up and see what the book can offer you!

Awesome post!
