As I prepare my caramel apples, carve my pumpkin and make ready for the trick or treaters this weekend- evidently I must also make sure I know where my snow shovel and salt is located as well! Yesterday, I was at the store and the cashier asked me if I was ready for the snow. I chuckled and said, "Give it some time!" She then told me that she was serious and looked at me in astonishment as if I was completely "out of the loop". So I logged on to the Weather Channel on my phone and low and behold..... A winter storm watch was in effect for our area of Southeastern Pennsylvania and could expect upwards of 5 " of snow today.
Mother Nature is no doubt, trying to point out to us that even though we may be preparing for Halloween- Christmas is right around the corner! Life is full of surprises- some good ones, some not so good and we have to be ready to "roll with the punches."
So, all my trick or treating friends, be sure and add your snow boots to your costume this weekend!
