I stumbled across this blog by Gene Riemenschneider of Home Point Real Estate in Brentwood California. I had to repost it so people can share with a young man who didn't have a father or father figure growing up to teach them things like how save for retirement or of all things how to tiee a tie. Today the entire concept of Being a Man and who to Be a Man has gone out the window.
Boys are under assault with attempts to feminize them at young ages or worse yet the failure to teach them the important Values of Honor, Dignity, Integrity, and Discipline.
I would not claim to be a perfect man (and I do not think any of us is), but there is an ideal and goal to aim for.
I could rant on this subject for a long time, but the main reason I wrote this post was that I came across a great Blog Site Called the http://artofmanliness.com.
I spent some time browsing it and found it nostalgic and yet still full of valuable advise and principals for today.
