We had our first hard frost last night.  The leaves that are left on the trees are brilliant goldens and oranges and reds.  The air is crisp and short sleeves aren't the option they were!  And perhaps the last thing on your mind is next spring! 

But if you're thinking about selling your home next year, you can't get started too early with your preparations.  Just like planting those flower bulbs now can lead to some spectacular results when the weather warms, getting your plan together and taking action now improves the odds of your own spectacular result next year!

There's nothing that says you can't select your REALTOR® team now.  Take your time, interview and find the right fit for you.  Now of course any pricing evaluations we do now are subject to change depending on the events between now and then.  Other sales, tax levies passing or failing, major news of some sort, all can influence the plan.

But there are some things that won't change, and those are the changes that you can make to prepare your home for sale.  It may involve new carpet, painting, staining the deck, perhaps a general updating of your home.  Buyers generally hate brass, so trading out some light fixtures, door crocusknobs and drawer pulls may go a long ways toward improving the impression of your home.

Oh, and those bulbs we mentioned planting?  You've still got time to get those in too!  A great curb appeal really helps make that positive first impression on your buyers!
