Living in Colorado is beautiful.  But there are certain things you have to be aware of when living here.  I have had several friends who have lost pets to coyotes.

While coyotes are one of the more well known problems that pet owners face, how would you like to walk into your kitchen and see your kitty spitting at one of THESE through the sliding glass doors?

Great picture. Bears are another animal we have to watch out for in Colorado. Skunks won't eat you but ugh!

Wow... that is crazy!  I have one kitty who would be scared... and one who thinks she can take on anything!  She would be a goner!  Kathy

Kerry, that was a crazy story and picture.  Did you hear the lady that took the picture also saw another mountain lion roaming around her house at the same time.  One is scary enough I can't imagine two of them.  --Krystal

WHOAH!!  Is that really at your house?  Nuts!  There sure is a lot of -ahem- interesting wildlife at times, haha!

Many years ago, when I was living in Illinois with my parents, our cat came to the sliding door to be let in.  It was pretty late, and my mom got up to open the door and nearly let in a raccoon!  Kitty was actually inside... (I think there's a commercial that makes fun of that... maybe they knew my mom!)
