i work closely with a Project Manager for an Environmental Engineering company.  I was amazed to hear about a job his company has currently undertaken.  A homeowner in the village of Montebello would like to add an addition to their home.  Sounds simple enough right? 

Wrong.

The proposed site has a stream running through the backyard passing through the eventual new living room.  My initial reaction was "thats too bad, i guess they will need to think of a plan B." 

But my Buddy, Anthony, is working on a plan to redirect the stream AROUND the house. It will be a 3 year project atleast, but when all is said and done, the stream will be preserved in its entirety and the homeowner will have his addition.

I don't believe in spamming Active Rain with blatant advertising so I'm not going to mention company names.  But if anyone is looking for a trustworthy Environmental Engineer/ Landscape Architect feel free to contact me.
