30 Comments on Fall Really Is A Perfect Time To Buy or Sell Your Home
Good Morning John, This is such a great way to promote you, your business and Albuquerque. And that cartoon photo is just adorable!
To your point John - homes are selling 365 day a year and I've seen more for sale signs go up this Fall then ever.....and they are selling! We should all have a positive attitude which I think attacks good things into our lives. Enjoy the Fall colors - they seem so go by so fast! Have a great day!
Just wanted to say John that you have one of the best blog layouts in Active Rain. Aesthetically pleasing and LEGIBLE without a magnifying glass. Good work man.
Good morning John. I totally agree with you. I buy in the winter, inventory is down but pristine and since there are fewer buyers looking the chances of a seller entertaining a serious offer are greater than other times of the year when traffic is typically greater. Suggested.
It is an ideal time for home buyers to take action. The prices are right and the mortgage interest rates are very low.

We were on a similar track with out posts today John. I have sold a number of homes this time of year. For some reason, Fall ushers in different buyer - one more intent and focused. It's a great season to buy - but, then they all are as you said so well in your post.
Good post, John. It IS a great time to buy! And, Happy November to you.
John,
Great post and it is a good time to buy...we have been busy getting our clients ready for their season, and we love fall in New Mexico. Have a superb November. A
Thank goodness for us that homes do sale 365 days a year. Hopefully we will all have a strong winter.
John, It is a great time to buy. Interest rates are crazy low right now. Inventory is down quite a bit in Denver
Yes, the Holidays are coming and many sellers are thinking of taking their unsold properties off the market -- what a great time to stay in the game while homes are beautifully decorated and buyers are out shopping for a new home!
John, Sorry I didn't make it yesterday. I was going to visit all my subscribers, but time ran out. So here you go.....
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! This is a Treat for you!
HOPE YOUR EVENING WAS GHOULISH!
Hi John, Fall and Winter are both great months here in St George. We get a lot of snowbirds seeking refuge from the cold and end up loving it so much they buy here!
Hi Joan. Yep I have worked a few transactions on holidays. We do what we have to do.
Jerry, just because the turkey is being served does not mean some folks don't need a home to buy or sell. Thanks for the kudos on my colors and graphics. I like them.
Hello Mimi. I see my fall being busy but winters do fall off business wise. I just don't want buyers and sellers thinking there is some magical prefect time of year. There isn't. Glad you like my leaves ;>)
Hi Pam, Contingencies are good, it is certainly a step in the right direction. I have a feeling there are a lot of built in contingencies out there meaning..they want buy another contingent on theirs selling...No formal contract.
Mark, I would imagine in the warmer climates it would be more year round. We still see all 4 seasons just not harsh changes. I think sellers get hung up on the green grass and trees.
I'm with Roger, I love fall for just about anything..Like College Football!
Hi Charita, Could not have said better!
Hi Joshua, Today was a great day..I'm winding down..Hope yours was enjoyable!
Dorie, Well said and congratulations for you and your home sellers and buyers. Families to love to be settled in for the holidays..Can't say I blame them.
Hi L&S, We just want our customers to know we are here for them throughout the year. We will make it happen for them.
Hi Kristine, I always love hearing those positive stories of homes being listed, sold and the market moving favorably. I know we are all ready for some good news about the housing market and economy in general. Hope you had a great day!
Hello Steve, That is very kind of you and greatly appreciated. It's always nice to hear if were doing something acceptable to the masses. The thing is Steve, I have to write it that big so I can see it! Have a great evening!
Hi Sheila, Your a smart lady for sure, you truly understand what we wish our buyers and sellers would grasp. It's likely winter is the Best time to sell!
Hi Roy, I feel like were all singing to the choir! We get it so lets spread the word!
Hi Debb, Love the new photo! I couldn't tell with the cat glasses the other day LOL. I like it! I see you point that buyers are more focused, maybe its that Holiday thing kicking in..Wanting to get settled.

Hi Amy, Thanks goodness indeed, now if I could just figure out how to sell a home 365 days a year. Mmmm

I bought my condo in the fall, at an open house, during halftime of a Sunday football game.
It sure is! Just in time for the family gathering together at Thanksgiving and then Christmas!!
