Things to do in Houston County Georgia: 18th Annual Houston County Band Night

Come out for a FREE community concert in Houston County GA on Nov 14th 2011, at McConnell-Talbert stadium, starting at 7:00pm.

Hear your favorite junior high and high school marching band, 13 in all, at the 18th Annual Houston County Band Night.

Did I mention this event is FREE to the public?

This year, nearly 1,200 students will perform the Star Spangled Banner, followed by middle school performances, and ending with ensembles played by the high school marching bands.

Music education is an important part of our public schools. Please come out and support the hard work these students and teachers have put into their programs.

The Community Concert in Houston County GA sounds like such fun, Anita - and the price is perfect - FREE! :-) We don't have high school marching bands in our area (just stage and concert bands at that level) - but I've watched them on TV and they are truly an event to behold!
