Last Week's Favorites: October 23rd - 30th
Much better ratio of guys and gals this time, Pat. (In fact, I was just kidding last time.)
Here's my favorite re-blog that also helps me with some that I missed during the week and are worth a 'special mention'.
Thanks Pat for your time this week and every week.
It's a beautiful fall Sunday here in Washington, DC. Yes, the snow is melted and the trees are finally starting to turn bright yellows and reds. And before I go off to work, it's time to share my favorite posts for the week. This week there is a little bit of a theme. Several of the posts reminded me how we are watching children and grandchildren of our blog buddies grow up, and I did include a few of these. So here goes:
1. Nestor & Katerina Gasset: Baseball Ready! I got to meet Tristan at a recent Rain Camp and had to resist a strong impulse to kidnap!
2. Mimi Foster: Don't you have a burlap sack? This is a beautiful post about her gorgeous 14-year old granddaughter, and it made me smile.
3. Mike Cooper: Of all dads, I am the most blessed. Raise them right, and this is what they turn into!
4. Todd Clark: The Oregon Zoo has an expecting mom Now here's the way to teach your children about the birds and the bees, and the elephants!
5. Chris Ann Cleland: Great MLS Photos Can't Overcome Bad Smells Sigh! She is so right! The title says it all.
6. Donald Hester: Night at the Opera This is a beautiful photo that picks up some interesting lighting. I can just hear the singing inside!
7. Jeff Geoghan: Discussing A Restored Farmhouse In Lititz - Lancaster PA Luxury Home I want to buy it! Check the photo link as well.
8. David Gibson: Flood maps - practical tips no matter what zone you're in & the rule of 100 Don't feel smug just because you're not on a flood plain!
9. Holly Kirby Weatherwax: Is Virtual Texting Still Texting? Is It The Answer? An excellent post on distracted driving.
10. Andrea Swiedler: The big pink fence This is about when we need to close mouths to close deals.
And that's all for this Sunday. Have a great week, and I'll be back here next Sunday to share the posts I love for this week!
