Vision Board and Goals

Yesterday I wrote a short members only post about the VISION BOARDS that my wife and I were working on.  Today I did not finish up.  I still need to get some more photos, but it is coming together nicely and I am feeling some really good and positive energy.

On the last post I did a couple people asked what a VISION BOARD is?  To me its pictures of some of the goals I want to achieve.  Some of the pictures are of things I would like to have. Others are of how I want to feel.  Some are of who I would like to be.

I am doing this now because to have a great 2012 I need to start seeing it GREAT now.  In 2011 my focus was poor and it has cause my year to be less then I would have wanted, but I am sort of getting what I plan for based on my lack of vision.

So going to the VISION BOARD now. I am feeling now I have a clearer picture of how I want to live my life and the things I am called to do in life. The VISION BOARD is going to be used to help me see these goals and dreams on a daily basis.

I hope share several times next year how well this is working for me!  This is how I am TREATING myself on Oct. 31st!

So... when your start a new year vision board and some of last years visions didn't happen,

do you add the same visions to the next year? When you paste the same goal again doesn't

it seem like you failed ? Therefore it's

a negative reminder when the project is supposed to be a positive shift of the mind?

 What's your opinion?

A vision board is a great idea, Chuck - it really brings a tangible element to our wishes and dreams, and reminds us to take steps turn them into attainable goals.  I'm going to give one a try!

Vision boards are a great way to help you envision where you see your self in the future.  One word on my board that I replaced "Success"with is the word "Significance".  As I get older I think of wha people will say at my funeral.  I want them to say how much I helped other people, not what a big house I had or what a fat car I had.  (altho those things are not a bad thing at all.  especially the fast car)

I think that you can achieve Success without Significance but you cannot achieve Significance without Success.

Success is all in how you define it.
