32 Comments on Moving out of Town? The Benefit of Asking Me for a Referral
Carol Ann. It's great that you take the time to vet the agents. I do the same. Not only do I make sure the agents are experienced but I also make sure the buyer or seller is serious. Most of my outgoing referrals are short sale sellers. I call them and spend about 30 minutes on the phone with them and they are pretty much prequalified and ready to list. Then I connect them with an experienced short sale agent. It's a HUGE benefit to all parties and far better than just hiring the 1st agent that answers their phone.
That is a great way to present the benefit of using a realtor out of state.
Hi Anita. Seems I've been falling asleep on the job! :) Thanks for the S.
Hi Debb. Then I believe I am in good company! Thanks for the S.
Hi Bob. Thank you for the Suggest. I love that I can feel so confident with my AR referrals! Loved reading about Mindi. I look forward to hearing her great sounds again!
Hi Al. So right. Thanks for reading and commenting!!
Hi Bryant. When I refer someone, I feel it is in a way an extension of my business. I always want to get someone that will treat my folks like I would. Oh No! I hear that controlling word in the back of my brain again.
Hi Allen. Thank you!
Cal send me a referral and I'll send you the$$ plus some canoli's:)
Carol-Ann - I think this is one of the amazing benefits of Active Rain and what we gain by being part of the community.
Marco! Bring on the canoli's!!!!!
Hi Christine. I can not believe the number of folks I have met on AR and how they have opened my eyes to the level of service they bring to their clients. It is just awesome and I am happy to be a part of this community!
I am not sure the general public knows about referals to outside of your service area! They know they can refer people to you looking inside the area but I think that is where it ends in their minds! It is very true how you can really start to know people on here by reading their blogs!
Hurray, it did get featured. So glad - :) Congratulations and thanks for the kind comment on my post today.
I too think that people just don't realize that we can provide this valuable service to them. It's so much better than picking someone's name out of a hat.
I totally agree with you. Plus I think that almost anyone that blogs here has a bit more going for them than complete strangers.
Hi Rosalie. You are right. I just received a comment from a family member saying just that. I do like this format.
Hi Debb! Thank you. I hope today is going to be sunnier! (is that a word?)
Hi Peggy. Exactly.
Hi Sandy. I think so to.
Congratulation on the feature Cal, you're becoming quite the blogger.
Hi Al! That's the nicest thing anyone has said to me all day! Thank you. I am learning for you all here in the Rain.
Hi Carol Ann-Awww, I thought gift only liked me, lol :)! Anyway, terrific post for sure! i think we often try to educate our friends, family and past clients to refer us to other folks, but we forget to tell them that we have a wonderful opportunity to insure that they get a great Realtor® in another service area with AR!
Hi Brenda. I was like, what was that??? So they like you too! Glad to hear. LOL Thanks for checking in and commenting. I really got an eye opener that we have to really let folks know how we can help.
This is a great post..reblogging. Thanks!
Hi Carol Ann...That has truly been one of the best benefits of Active Rain, meeting and really getting to know so many professional and caring agents from one end of this country to the other. We are lucky to have such a wealth of talent to share with our friends, clients, and family if they should need an agent anywhere.
Re-blogging.
