HOW WELL DO THEY MEASURE UP?

FND Real Estate Photography and Virtual ToursI dont' know if anyone has posted this before, but one of my friends told me about this site and I had to go and search for my house.

Nice Satellite view of all the houses with their estimated pricing.

I like that fact that my house is waaaaay more than what I bought for, but my property is the least expensive in my neighbourhood :)

The site is ZILLOW.com

Does anyone know how realistic these prices are?

What is the site?  I've seen Zillow doing this.  Is there a different one?

Hey Met - I think the prices on Zillow tend to be way off.  They get their data from the original survey of the homes.  It does not take into consideration the condition, or things about the location like double yellow line and stuff.

Mehmet ~ I just checked it out and it doesn't seem quite right for my area either.  It's running a bit low, and it doesn't seem to take into consideration additions, which some, like my own has.

Maureen and Kathy:  Thank you for your comments and I'm glad to hear that the prices are lower than what it should be.  It's nice to know that my house is worth more than what they say :)
